Dear Class of 2000:

I just received word from Agnes Scott that there is a new challenge that will help our class reach our reunion giving goal and I want to give you advanced notice. I am excited about this opportunity and I hope you will be too!

Announcing... The Annual Fund Challenge. Our reunion gifts count more than ever - literally!
 
In order to inspire alumnae in their reunion years to give generously to the annual fund, Trustees Libby Rhett Jones '73 and Jeanne Kaufmann Manning '72 have issued a challenge. The Annual Fund Challenge is intended to encourage first-time donors to begin a tradition of giving and to embolden our faithful donors to make an additional gift this year. Starting February 1, both new and additional gifts received on or before April 15 are eligible to be matched dollar for dollar up to $150,000.  For details please check the Agnes Scott web site.
 
The best part is that the amount that our class receives in matches from The Annual Fund Challenge will be credited to our class giving total! This should really help us achieve our goal and support Agnes Scott.

Become a Bell Ringer!

Can you believe that this April is our 10 year reunion? Our goal is to “dominate” the Tower Circle dinner on the Thursday night of Reunion weekend. We want to have several tables full of 2000 Blues Brothers, and show the other Young Alumnae classes that we mean business! Traditionally, the Tower Circle dinner was open only to donors of over $1,000 per year. The Development Office recently changed this for Young Alumnae classes, and all Bell Ringers (who make donations of $500-$1,000 per year) are now given an invitation.

Please note that all gifts to the annual fund count toward our class reunion giving total!

The College's fiscal year is July 1, 2009 to June 20, 2010 so if you made a gift prior to July 1, 2009 it does not count for this year!
