These are my five wonderful grandchildren. The only problem is they are on the west coast and Glenn and I live in North Carolina. Oh well, it's a good excuse to travel!

Hi everybody!!

I can't be at the reunion, but I did want to send greetings and a few photos. We are loving Montana in our retirement. The pictures show us floating in our drift boat fly fishing on the Madison River, bicycling on the Hiawatha Trail on the Montana/Idaho state line, and with our daughters and our grandchildren. Enjoy!

My "Hills Are Alive" photo. I got caught up in the moment while on a mountaintop somewhere in Canada. Must have been excitement as I thought of the upcoming reunion.

Having moved to Tennessee less than 2 years ago, and only getting to our 15th reunion, I am really looking forward to our 45th. Here is a picture of me with the wonderful quilter Ricky Tims last year when he was here in Knoxville.

After 12 years of being single, I found the love of my life and married him in June 2007. He travels the world representing the American Institute of Architects at the Union of International Architects. I go with him as much as I can.

I am still working as a systems engineer doing IT consulting for Northrop Grumman for federal customers. I gave up my management job over a year ago to travel, and I will work as long as I can take leave to travel and as long as I find the job fun.

My two daughters Cate and Emily are married, and I have one grandson aged 2 and a half. Great fun!

"Gene and I have traveled extensively since his retirement at the end of 2000. We traveled to China in the fall of 2007 with Vantage tour company. Two photographers were with the group and took various pictures for the new Vantage brochures. We now see ourselves on the Great Wall every time we get a catalogue that features China. Watching the Olympics brought back fond memories of our trip.

Our three children, Phillip, David, and Elizabeth live in L.A., Atlanta, and Powdersville, SC, respectively. We have 6 grandchildren, ranging in age from 5 to 16.

I spend my time in various places: Daughters of the King, St. James, Greennville; ice skating instructor with the Greenville County Recreation Department; volunteer swimming instructor for children in a residential program for the emotionally handicapped; a member of the Upstate Chapter of the American Red Cross Water Safety Committee (with Kacky Elliott, 1961); and a Trainer with the Mountains to Midlands Girl Scout Council. I also mentor several girls as they earn their Silver and Gold Awards.

In my spare time I like to read and do needlework."
